Mini Picture Business Cards

Mini Business cards

Mini Business cards

I’m starting to see these things pop up everywhere!  They look like mini picture business cards, they’re about  1.125×2.75 inches, and are double sided.  Each card can have a different image on one side, with text on the other, so you can show off more of your work.  I think they are going to be one of the hottest new things offered by photographers.  They are fairly inexpensive to have made and offer a good value for the customer and photographer.

I can think of many great uses for these.  They are the perfect item for a wedding photographer.  A photographer can get 100 of these printed up with one side being his information & the other side with different images taken of the bride and groom.  The photographer can put them out on the table as a souvenier for the guests, while at the same time advertising themselves.

Another great use is for a school photographer to market them as “friendship cards”.  They are an inexpensive photograph that can be traded around with their friends at school.  This way parents still have plenty of wallet pictures to include with their Christmas cards, etc.

What a great item to offer for seniors also.  Each card can have a separate image on it.  They would make a great ‘free’ incentive to get the senior to book early portrait appointments.  Or as an extra item for that ‘Ultimate’ senior portrait package.

There are several places online to order these cards, just search for “mini business card”.  I saw them advertised at in a photo magazine.  A PhotoLynx lab that does them is H&H Color lab.  If your lab or studio offers them add a comment to this post with your contact information for others who may read this a like this product.
