Here comes the….Pony?!?

On Saturday, August 14th, I rode my trustee mount, Rocky, through the pine trees in Rancho Cuyamaca State Park up to the “alter” to get hitched!  I married my best friend, Bob McClanahan about ten feet from where we first met at horse camp over four years ago.  What a gorgeous day!!  We had a great time with about 90 people who enjoyed smoked bbq ribs with all the fixin’s and famous Julian apple pies for dessert!  Our theme was “John Deere Tractors” since the proposal occurred on a John Deere back in February.  We rented out the entire horse camp for all of our friends for the weekend.  We had quite a few other families that did camp with us.  We ended the evening sitting around a camp fire watching for shooting stars from the annual Persied meteor shower.  It was a dream come true!

Using MetaData Images with Image Match

With the news of Canon coming out with the 7D, and the popularity of the now discontinued Fuji S5, I thought it would be a perfect time to update our guide on using metadata images with Image Match.  The guide tells how to set up your job in Image Match to create the barcodes used on site for scanning into the camera.  It then takes you to the shoot and back to the studio where you will load up your images and merge the data and images together, creating a finished job.  The workflow of using metadata images is a great one if you don’t like shooting tethered, but would like a method of simply matching the images with the data after the shoot.
